You will never get rid of your anger by dumping that back out on another sentient being, no matter what they have done. It simply doesn’t work that way, for when we hurt another being, we hurt ourselves ten fold because there is a level in both you and other where you are one with that other being, where you both meet in a place of infinite love, [we all essentially meet there] I mean there is no other at that point only one of you, wether you like it or not.
Remove yourself from hurtful people, places and things, we don’t stand for hurtful behavior from others, but with practice we increasingly come to understand that our psychological, emotional reactions are ours to process and that we will never get free of our pain caused us any other way, certainly not by trying to give it to another life form, like a hot potato.
This is a hard practice no doubt, but note the word practice. The gift becoming in this is a gift felt by all, taking ownership of our emotional experience, particularly our anger, which is our fear and in turn our grief, [the grief of believing you are separate from that one love] sets us all on a path of liberation from suffering…we are after all, as Ram Dass said, walking each other home.
GIVE IT ALL TO LOVE
GIVE IT ALL TO LOVE
GIVE IT ALL TO LOVE
