DISCOUNTING BEHAVIOR
"Self-Discounting Dynamics: Exploring the Intricate Interplay of External Discounting and Its Reflection on Self-Worth"
No one can ever discount you without first discounting yourself. This originates from an internal belief within us that, in those moments, we are not enough and appear diminished in the eyes of love (our true nature). It is crucial to understand that this is always a mistaken belief being triggered, no doubt from past internalized experience, some long held. However we can come to acknowledge that their words and actions do not define our worth.
The belief that you are somehow not enough, that you are not inherently connected to all love – the ultimate power you will ever need – is a distortion. When we relinquish our stance within the truth of self-love, we instantly adopt the false notion that we are less than the boundless value of love.
However, can it genuinely be true that you are less than completely lovable? Absolutely not. Throughout the years, we may have internalized beliefs that suggest we are not worthy of love, completeness, or oneness with love. These beliefs contribute to the grief, fear, and anger that pervade our lives.
It is essential to challenge and release these limiting beliefs to embrace the truth of our inherent and infinite lovability. Some of these beliefs run deep, having multiplied over the years, originating in our earliest developmental stages.
You can recognize these beliefs in the energy they produce in your emotional body – the wounds from our distant past that have been embedded for decades.
It is noteworthy that often, the people we love the most seemingly have the ability to touch those deep places more than anyone else. This is because the more your heart is open to truth and love, the more you open yourself to that which is not.
In the presence of such love mirrored before you, past wounds surface for healing, though few recognize this process, leading to conflicts. Understanding this dynamic can pave the way for profound healing and growth. Nigel Lott …..teaandzen.org
